Westlake Officially Appointed Financial Division Chief
Last month, Governor Schwarzenegger appointed Chris Westlake as chief of the division of financial assistance for the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Westlake had been acting division chief since early March 2007.Additionally, Eric Csizmar has joined the Business, Transportation and Housing Agency as deputy secretary of legislation. Csizmar’s background includes a two-year stint as a deputy legislative secretary, two years as director of legislative affairs for the California Youth Authority, and six years in various legislative staff positions.
Neither position requires Senate confirmation.
