Senior Homes Bill Set for June 12 Hearing
The Senate Transportation and Housing Committee will hear AB 927 (Saldaņa) on June 12, 2007. This measure, co-sponsored by Housing California (HCA) and four senior organizations, requires senior homes to be funded by the Multifamily Housing Program (MHP) in proportion to the number of seniors in the program's target population.
AARP CA is scheduling local meetings with Republicans who sit on the committee:
