New Federal Resources for Supportive Services
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently released a Request for Application for its new $3 million Services in Supportive Housing Program. The grant program will fund services in conjunction with existing permanent supportive-home programs and resources, helping to end chronic homelessness for individuals and families.
SAMHSA will make 8 grants of up to $375,000 each, for programs up to 5 years in duration.
Deadline: Applications are due May 22, 2007.
