Effort to Form Legislative Committee on Homelessness Advances
HCA’s Zack Olmstead and other homeless policy advocates met last week with Assemblymember Sally Lieber, D-Mountain View to discuss formation of a two-house legislative committee on homelessness. Discussions centered on what role the committee could play in overseeing implementation of the Governor’s Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness and commissioning research to inform policymakers.
