Provide Input on Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness
March 10, 2010
The U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) has launched an interactive website to collect stakeholder suggestions on preventing and ending homelessness. The USICH will use these comments to help develop the Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness that must be delivered to Congress by May 20, 2010.
USICH also held several in-person stakeholder meetings throughout the country, including one in San Francisco on March 02, 2010. More than 100 stakeholders offered feedback on the plan's content, including advocates, service providers, government representatives, and homeless persons.
Anyone can submit ideas online before the March 22 deadline. The public can also vote for any of the ideas already submitted (the website displays the most popular ideas at the top of the list).
