Density Bonus Bill Passes Two Committees: Send Your Opposition Letter TODAY

AB 2280 -- Saldaņa (D-San Diego) and Caballero (D-Salinas) -- passed out of the Assembly's housing and local government committees in late April, largely due to its authorship by the chairs of those committees.
Though a number of committee members expressed concerns about AB 2280, only one Democrat -- Sally Lieber (Mountain View) -- did not vote for it. Two Republican members of the committees voted against the measure: Cameron Smyth (Santa Clarita) and Sharon Runner (Lancaster). Two Republicans -- Bonnie Garcia (Cathedral City) and Guy Houston (Livermore) -- did not vote.
