Capitol Housing Staff Shifting
February 4, 2008Assembly housing committee staffer Hugh Bower is leaving the Capitol after seven years as chief consultant. Bower plans to lobby for Emanuels Jones and Associates, an established firm that primarily represents redevelopment agencies and cities. No replacement has been named.
Additionally, on February 1, 2008, Bill Allayaud replaced Sonja Palladino as Assemblymember Dave Jones' housing staff. Allayaud most recently served as the Sierra Club's Advocacy Director.
Lastly, Aaron Carruthers left Senator Darrell Steinberg's office last month. Carruthers staffed mental health issues for Steinberg, including SB 851 to establish PROMISE (Program for Returning Offenders with Mental Illness Safely and Effectively).
