Budget "Re-do" Sent to Governor

On Friday, September 19, 2008, the legislature sent a revised budget to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in AB 1781. View budget and trailer bills.
As we reported last week, the budget and trailer bills contain a number of housing-related items. None of them were impacted by Friday's revisions.
With a budget in place, the legislature has also resumed sending bills to the governor. He will have until September 30, 2008, to sign, veto, or allow them to become law without his signature. For the latest on all the bills we're tracking, see our up-to-date list.
