Fate of AB 2034 Remains Uncertain: Share Your Story and Help Save Critical Funding!
AB 2034 (Integrated Services for the Homeless Mentally Ill) is an open item within the budget conference committee. The Senate placed funding of AB 2034 in its version of the budget, while the Assembly took no action. During conference committee proceedings on June 2, 2007, Senator Denise Ducheney was an outspoken champion for AB 2034, but the committee decided to leave the item "open." View our AB 2034 Fact Sheet.
TAKE ACTION! Share Your Story! Use our Share Your Story tool to help save AB 2034. The Save AB 2034 Coalition has agreed to use Housing California's website as the center for logging personal stories related to the AB 2034 program. The testimonials will be collected and presented to Governor Schwarzenegger and legislative leaders.
