The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition will break ground on a 218-unit affordable housing project Thursday, March 20 titled Wolff Waters Place, in memory of former CVHC board members Fred Wolff and Alan Waters.

The structures will be built at 47-795 Dune Palms. The ground breaking begins at 11 a.m. and lunch is provided. In partnership with the city of La Quinta, the units will be designed with families in mind. The complex will feature a large community center, child care center, swimming pool, sports courts and a variety of open space. The development will be green-conscious built with environmentally friendly features.
