Job Title: Asset Management Analyst
Position Summary: The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for monitoring a portfolio of operating real estate properties.
Work Site: West Sacramento
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following with respect to properties in assigned asset management portfolio:
- Reviews and interprets applicable legal documents and regulations to identify asset management compliance requirements.
- Conducts periodic analysis of financial reports including balance sheet, income statements, and budgets for purposes of portfolio monitoring and generating internal and external reporting.
- Prepares property performance reports on a timely basis that includes a summary and current status of compliance, lending, financial, and reporting requirements.
- Ensures that each property is in compliance with 3rd party requirements and other required portfolio monitoring.
- Responsible for file management and ensuring that the permanent files are current.
- Communicates effectively with 3rd party relationships and internally with other departments.
- Assists Associate Director with asset management responsibilities and projects, as requested.
Education: Bachelors degree in real estate, accounting, finance, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of two years in financial analysis preferred. Experience in asset management, property management, and/ or real estate finance required. Knowledge of affordable housing financing helpful. Strong competency with Word and Excel software programs.
